“ They deserve a 6-star in service. The "captain" and the lady boss are super-friendly and makes you feel very welcomed. Home Taste cooking is good -a bit too oily for my liking but the dishes taste good. They also serve hotpot or steamboat, which is very popular in Berinchang. ”

Vince, the owner was very charismatic and took good care of us despite having to wait awhile for the food (we were told in advance so it was okay). Vince was also generous to let us try some aged Chinese tea which was really good among other things! I’d highly recommend coming here for dinner where the produce is very fresh, and the food is extremely tasty! ”

“ Very welcoming, when they saw us coming in cold from the rain they immediately gave us a glass of hot water to warm us up. The lady taking orders was very friendly and professional, giving us a lot of nice recommendations. We ordered the seaweed soup, sweet and sour pork and fried egg (was wok hei). Food was tasty, hearty and delicious. ”
“ Must try dining venue when here. The lady boss was extremely friendly and recommended dishes with a smile. Both the veggies, the watercress and salted egg pumpkin were great. Watercress was extremely fresh and vibrant green. The salted pumpkin was crispy on the outside and still soft on the inside. The fish with pickled veggies was presented as 2 slices of fish fillet and the sauce was zingy and slightly sourish without being overwhelming. Great subtle flavour at a very fair price point. Personally, the star of the meal was the ancestor recipe deep fried pork belly. Absolutely divine. Outside was crispy here again but the inside was still tender without the meat becoming chewy in the slightest. The flavour with the sauce was like bbq styled meat with a hint of the char and umami. Parking available up front. Came at 6pm on a Wed and there was no wait. Check prior to whether they are open, which they usually are, but we came earlier in the week on a tue and they were closed. Definitely a must try restaurant in Cameron Highlands. Hope you have an enjoyable meat as we did. ”
“ Good food. Good place. We read the reviews of this place and decided to pop in. Reached about 815pm so the dinner crowd was over i guess. Plus it was raining. Ample parking by the way. Very nice and hospitable service crew! We had... 1. 古早味 chicken with tea leaves.. pretty good! Had the old-school smokey flavour. 2. Fu yong omelette. Super good. 3. Stirfry sweet potato leaves (with garlic) 4. Fish head hotpot (鱼头炉) the fish is fried... melty. The broth is so rich and milky. Love it. Had had had to tabao the remaining soup back to make porridge. Heh. ”
“ 好好吃! 有家的味道! Had our dinner here for 2 consecutive nights during our stay in Cameron highlands, because it was so so good! Staff and Lady boss were very friendly and hospitable. We arrived pretty late and were always the last customers to leave but they never once hurried or chased us away and only close their shuttle after we finished. Definitely a place I will revisit if I come back to Cameron Highlands!
